K-9 Cosplays the 1st Doctor

3rd painting in the K-9 cosplays series! I'm amazed I'm keeping up with painting/coloring a picture each day! XD

Today, K-9 is cosplaying the 1st (First) Doctor. Originally I thought it would be the hardest painting to create because it's been YEARS since I saw First Doctor episodes, but after doing searches online for photos of the Doctor, I immediately got ideas and knew what paint. The way I painted K-9 is... um... I don't know how describe it. Like he enjoys wearing the First Doctor's clothes a little too much.

I'm not sure how often the First Doctor wore the scarf, hat, and monocle (Again, it's been years since I've watched the First Doctor) but I included them so it would make K-9's "costume" more recognizable. Since most of the photos I could find were in black and white, I had a little trouble figuring out what color the scarf should be. I ended up deciding on painting it the colors it was shown to be in the comic Time and Time Again because I was crunched for time and it was easier to color than the scarf I liked better.

K-9 Cosplays Master ListFor the past few days, I've been working and posting a new paint series called "K-9 Cosplays". The idea is that K-9 from Doctor Who is dressing up, or cosplaying, each regeneration of the Doctor. (I might expand this to other characters, but for now it's just the Doctor)
These paintings are meant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who and Matt Smith's last episode.
Since I'm working and finishing each painting out of regeneration order, I need a "master list" to post the paintings in the correct order. So, this journal post was created to serve that purpose.
This journal entry will be updated when each new painting is finished and posted, so if this entry shows up in your messages every day for several days in a row, it's just me adding new paintings to the list.
